I am thinking if I should do this on @leaflet.pub for either the furry fandom (via @multifandom.andreijiroh.dev) or the open-source community (via @recaptime.dev) but with a twist of using @anisota.net's newly-shipped post poetry feature to showcase what's been cooking lately.. Thoughts?
Yes, I'll be doing that here in this fresh publication but with a twist. I will be going to use 's post poetry maker on whoever furry creator on the Atmosphere I'll be featuring on that week (if it is all kinky stuff, good luck to all of us in the comments section/replies) as the post cover rather than picking a random SFW furry art (probably from FurAffinity of e621), do slap it to Canva to make it workable on social previews (cue the 40px margins around to avoid being cropped out) with credits underneath and upload it back here

The Atmospheric Furry Radar
What will be in each weekly issue?
Essentially it will be what's cooking on the atmospheric open social web side of the furry fandom, whether it's music and art, open-source software, even long-form writings count and furry conventions and furry-adjacent events (I see furries at anime expos from the radar if you will) plus some fandom news from and others1.
Each issue's cover photo will be made using 's post poetry feature over at , featuring someone either from the feeds or from my own curated set of furries on the radar (If Witchsky isn't your primary Bluesky client, open it in aturi.io universal link page). There will be chaos on how do I do the post poem but hopefully I could cook them to the best of my ability, although you can also send your own too to us for ideas and suggestions if mine's went horribly messed up to some.

While I know furry music is at most fall under the electronic music umbrella if not Rave (looks at my mainstays on the YT Music listening rotation like (Verplex), (fur:trash) and MANEDDENTO!2, among others like (ivycomb), (Jeremy Blake of Red Means Recording), (MrKoolTrix) and even (Kye Fox) on the furry music radar), the Leaflet crew3 suggested me to focus on this one alongside the usual tagging everyone I featured for community discoverability, hence being every-other-week schedule. tl;dr: We're moving to every-other-week publication schedule as we're switching gears towards the weekly furry fandom digest at Atmospheric Furry Radar.

In a nutshell, well, DON'T TELL ETHO (yet if you're reading from the drafts). Long story short, I actually got selected for the Atmosphere Field Reporter Corps and since I don't want to dual-wield4 both my main and multifandom accounts (switching accounts is cheap but you don't want the hassle of copy-pasting edit links between Firefox container tabs, right?) due to high cost of context switching as an Autistic5 Filipino open-sourcerer6 and multifandom folf7 furry goober. For simplicity, this will be hosted and managed on my main at , same with The (Weekly) Mixtape Rolls (but the multifandom blog will be separately managed over in the future once I sort out the details).

When will issues usually go
Expect a fresh weekly digest to go to your feeds and email inboxes around Sunday to Tuesday, Philippine Standard Time, after editing the issue by organizing the sections plus its issue-specific collection and doing the post poetry. I may try to do the audio versions of them (without having to rely on gen AI tools8 for the voice-over) but no promises on the production/release schedule for now since my spoons will fluctuate as my second year in college kicks in a few weeks around next week.
In case of changes to the schedule (i.e. due to busy schedules or taking a break) as editor here, you will be posted over at Community Updates Radio or personally at

First issue goes around before August 1, probably later this June 29 to 30 if there's no chores around (initially planned around July 12-13, then 19-20 and 26-27 on the drafts) since I have compiled enough stuff here in the Atmosphere, just need to format things and sort throughout the Semble collections behind the scenes.

The Atmospheric Furry Radar is weekly newsletter (or digest if you will) on what's happening in the furry fandom lately through the open social web ecosystem (more specifically in the Atmosphere) and the wider interwebs, with help from the Bluesky feeds and journalistic reporting from by of , a project under . While it's not limited to the Atmosphere and Fediverse (well you can blame networks effect of Alphabet/Google (through YouTube), Meta (I mean Facebook and Instagram/Threads) and X (formerly Twitter), we want more of the fandom (and everyone) to be on the open social web to be in the control of their data and identity. Simply put, it's like Firefox's Ten Tabs but atmospheric furry edition.
About the author and the publication editor-in-chief: Andrei Jiroh Halili (he/they) is an Autistic Filipino open-source developer and maintainer at @recaptime.dev (Recap Time Squad) and @lorebooks.wiki (Community Lorebooks) / @stellapent.wiki (Stellapent Cier Community Wiki).
